Well a recent article has found that for the first time Smartphone users have now overtaken laptops for UK internet users.
According to the "The Communications Market Report: United Kingdom" 66% of UK adults now own a smartphone and they use it for nearly two hours every day to browse the internet, access social media, bank and shop online.
33% of internet users see their smartphone as the most important device for going online compared to 30% using their laptop.
54% of households now own at least one tablet
45% of internet users make purchases online
Other report findings included:-
26% of mobile internet users used their phone to buy an item in March 2015
90% of smartphone users are 16 to 24-year-olds and 50% 55 to 65-year-olds
26% use their mobile to find a store location
6% of mobile internet users paid at an in-store point of service
But shoppers were less likely to use their mobile to pay in-store
