Dean is running the Bristol 10K again for BUST Charity on Sunday 31st May
21 May 2015
Last year Team Net Digital raised over £470.00 for BUST, so a big thank you to all our friends, family and business colleagues who sponsored us and helped us raise this amount.
In total 67 people ran in aid of BUST last year and raised a fantastic figure of £14,262, so the aim is to beat this amount this year.
Last year Dean ran it in under 55mins and this year he’s aiming to beat that time too!
Can you help us beat last years figure?! https://www.justgiving.com/Net-Digital1
When the BUST Charity was first launched in 1991 their first target was to raise £20,000 for an ultra-sound scanner for The Southmead Breast Care Centre. Now 24 years later they have raised a staggering £1,175,000 and are now aiming for their £1.5 million milestone.
BUST, is the Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust, a charity founded by patients for patients to support the work of the Bristol Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital.
Over 22,000 patients per year attend the Bristol Breast Care Centre, including a significant number of male patients. The BUST charity supports the work of The Southmead Breast Care Centre by raising money to support , innovation and purchase of new technology, such as state-of-the-art scanners, before it is available through the NHS.
