Senior PHP Developer  – PHP, MySQL, Ajax, CSS, JavaScript   - Salary up to £40,000 + Free Parking

Are you passionate about websites, web development and the Internet? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior PHP Developer to join our Bristol web design agency.
 
Joining a great working environment, your day to day role will be a key position in our team. You will be working with multiple clients on a variety of projects, which will include frontend website builds, ongoing development of PHP based CMS and ecommerce systems, email newsletters and maintenance and site updates of existing websites.

This varied and exciting role requires someone who’s bright, dedicated and enthusiastic about the web. Equally as important will be the ability to work in a small friendly team and the ability to deliver high quality work, on time.
 
We are looking for a middle to senior level, talented individual who shares a passion for delivering creative, innovative web solutions, who has ideally had previous agency experience.

To be considered for this position, you must have experience and proven skills in the following;

- PHP 5 and MySQL
- JavaScript/AJAX,
- Basic Linux/Windows system administration skills such as configuring Apache, PHP, MySQL
- W3C standards
- HTML & CSS
- Basic understanding of Photoshop

The successful candidate will have a proven track record and will be proficient at frontend builds as well as developing bespoke, database driven, CMS and full ecommerce systems.

As a Multi-skilled Web / PHP Developer, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to a high standard, whilst paying attention to detail. And as a good problem solver, you will be able to anticipate obstacles and overcome them.

Knowledge of social media sites (Twitter, Facebook), Content Management Systems (Word Press, Joomla), and Search Engine Optimisation would be an advantage.
